So, when I first saw this pic I totally didn't give it a second look. It didn't even occur to me that we were looking at the first photo of Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder. Yeah, that's right. He's the second guy back. The transformation is amazing. I only hope they pull it off tastefully and don't end up being totally offensive.

In the movie, Downey Jr plays a serious/Oscar winning actor who gets cast in this war movie being filmed in South America. Evidently the part was originally written for an African American actor and so his character decides to "respect the original script" and do the role as a black man. Could be kind of interesting. The cast also includes Ben Stiller as the lead (and the film's director), Steve Coogan, and Nick Nolte.
