A week or 2 ago, a site popped up called
harveydent ibelieveinharveydent.com. When it first appeared, it only
consisted of a registration area and this pic:

Once you registered they sent you an email rallying the citizens of Gotham against the "thugs and killers menacing our city". The email message also notified us to keep checking the site for updates.

Well, yesterday the site got a big update. First of all, at around 8pm last night we got a phone call from
1 (000) 000-0000 and when we answered it was a message from Harvey Dent himself which you can hear right here. Cool, right?

The website is also now basically centered around the fact that Harvey Dent supporters can upload their own video and pics to show their dedication. There's even mention of a "Dentmobile" which may be coming to a city near you (not me of course because I live in BFE).

Overall, this is a cool new marketing ploy from the folks behind the Batman franchise. Check it out at the link above and get to submitting some pics and videos. You have until March 26th at noon.
Cinematical has posted the new international and domestic posters for the Paramount Pictures release Iron Man. I personally like the international version slightly better but still for the life of me don't understand why there needs to be two versions. Oh well, here's the domestic followed by the international version.

Fearing Harrison Ford's 65+ years might turn off young viewers who wouldn't see him as spry as today's action heroes. Paramount turned to the Web, hoping to give the trailer a viral boost and score points with a targeted--aka, younger--audience.

According to the AP
, it worked: "Older audiences certainly remember Indy, but that's not the prime ticket-buying demographic. Thus the aggressive online campaign, which included what Paramount says is a record 4.1 million views on the Yahoo movie site in the first week and 2.6 million on the official IndianaJones.com site, the most ever for the studio."

It's easy to believe. The trailer is one of the most popular pages at Picture Start and search engines send a lot of visitors here looking for it.
