"Pathology" = "Anatomie"?

In 2000, Stefan Ruzowitzky's Anatomie was the German "Film of the Year" and it spawned a sequel in 2004. Here's how IMDB describes it: "Medical student Paula Henning wins a place at an exclusive Heidelberg medical school. When the body of a young man she met on the train turns up on her dissection table, she begins to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death, and uncovers a gruesome conspiracy perpetrated by an Antihippocratic secret society operating within the school."

Now, here's how IMDB describes Lakeshore Entertainment's upcoming movie, Pathology: "Dr. Ted Gray (Milo Ventimiglia) graduates at the top of his class at Harvard Medical School, which allows him to join one of the nations most prestigious Pathology programs. Extremely talented and accomplished himself, Ted is quickly invited into a camaraderie with the programs (sic) most elite group of interns. Teds (sic) good fortune turns to danger, though, as he in introduced to his new friends (sic) deadly game, who can commit the perfect murder. Their pawn before he realizes he has even joined the game, Ted must out think this new friends to avoid becoming their next victim."

We see the similarities, and have taken notice of the growing internet tide carrying the word "ripoff" to shore. But then, we kinda don't care. Really, are there any new stories?
